Hi!I’m Juliana Guimarães (yes, that is a Portuguese last name so make sure to use your nose to pronounce the “ães” sound).
I started to work 17 years ago when I found myself in a dilemma: how can I earn a steady paycheck, to please my parents, and continue to follow an old love for philosophy and art? I saw in design an opportunity to work on meaningful projects, build products to help empower people and fulfill a constant passion to learn and discuss complex ideas with different people, studying human behavior and solving various kinds of problems. Through this journey to find a perfect balance between art & human behavior, I worked on a wide range of things: logos, packaging design, app design, publication design, websites, brand visual guidelines, tons of email marketing, banners, and even AI-powered advertising solutions. I noticed that I could do more than my everyday role. I began to work with high-level executives, refining brands storytelling, facilitating communication of complex information, data, and product flows, turning it into innovative, clear and prioritized designs of graphics, presentations, platforms, products, and other design materials.
